I had a single Seagate external hard drive and when it died they told me it would cost me $3,000 minimum to TRY to restore the data. So, I figured it would make sense to buy two of these so that if one died I would have an identical backup on the other one. That was more than one years ago and they are both going strong. I would recommend this product without any reservation. I used on older desktop that I wanted to get rid of, but I wanted to keep some of the old data. And I've used it on very state-of-the-art new desktops and laptops. Please this - youll love:).
